Since 1965, LifeWorks Community Action has been dedicated to helping our neighbors meet their most basic needs and move forward on a path to financial security and personal well-being. We’ve built a strong network of programs and resources that address the wide range of challenges low-income families face including food security, housing, child care, and language access. We are part of a network of nearly 1100 community action agencies nationwide. Our programs include the Latinx Community Advocacy Program/Immigrant Services which provides free interpretation and translation, English and Civics classes, assistance accessing health, legal and educational resources. Other EOC Programs include Food Programs including a food pantry, mobile food pantry and community lunch program, Head Start, WIC and Weatherization Assistance Programing.
